CROSSWAEH, McDonnell Center, and Community Corrections & Treatment Center Receive National Reaccreditation
Three residential community corrections programs operated by Oriana House were recently certified for reaccreditation by the American Correctional Association (ACA), having scored 100% on the audit standards.
The CROSSWAEH male and female Community Based Correctional Facilities (CBCF) in Tiffin, and the Fannie M. Lewis Community Corrections & Treatment Center (a halfway house) and the McDonnell Center CBCF in Cleveland, all earned perfect scores on the mandatory and non-mandatory ACA community corrections audit standards for their reaccreditation.
The ACA accreditation program is a professional peer review process based on standards developed by national leaders from the field of corrections, law, architecture, health care, and other groups who are interested in sound correctional management.
Oriana House is private, nonprofit community corrections and behavioral health agency that provides services throughout Ohio.
ACA audits cover three years and visits occur between audit years to enhance the inspection process.
